Alleyways

After this morning's 4 inch snow, we have received over 13 inches of snow in Berwyn over the weekend. Berwyn’s Department of Public Works has been authorized to secure additional resources to begin the process of clearing the City’s alleyways. This process will begin tomorrow and will continue 24 hours a day until it is completed.
Please be aware that clearing the alleys will create snow rows on your garage apron and in front of your garage door. There is no way to avoid this, as we cannot clear individual aprons.
In addition, starting tomorrow (2/12) all vehicles that are parked in a street maintenance (sweeping) area MUST be moved in accordance with the posted signage. This will allow plows to clear these areas to the curb.
Thank you again for your cooperation.

Waste Management Delays

With the continued snow storm, Waste Management crews were unable to complete garbage/recycling pick ups this past Saturday.  All remaining residents with regular Friday garbage/recycling service that weren’t picked up yesterday, will be serviced tomorrow, Monday, February 12th.
The city is still not plowing alleys as we focus on clearing the city streets.

Thank you for your patience.
